Let’s start this year with helping you to achieve healthy and gorgeous hair!
Here’s a fantastic DIY shampoo recipe of aloe vera (one of the ingredients we use for our skincare products) that will make your hair super shiny, luscious and healthy!

Next to soothing the skin and healing burns, aloe vera works equally well for cleansing and conditioning the hair. Using aloe vera for your hair is found to provide effective solutions for problems like dry scalp, dandruff and it stops hair loss and promotes healthy hair growth!
Aloe vera shampoo penetrates deeply into the scalp’s pores and revitalizes healthy tissue.  The plant’s natural amino acids work to cleanse the scalp and bring impurities to the surface, where they are rinsed away. Aloe vera deep-cleans the hair and scalp, and leaves the hair  shiny and smooth.

-6 Tablespoons aloe vera gel
-2 teaspoon fresh or dried spearmint leaves
-2 teaspoon fresh or dried nettle leaves
-2 teaspoon fresh or dried calendula flowers
-20 ounces boiling water
-8 ounces castile soap
-5 – 10 drops lavender essential oil

Pour boiling water over the spearmint, nettle and calendula, and let them steep at least 30 and up to 60 minutes. We like to use a french press. Strain the herbs and let them cool completely. If you are using fresh aloe from your own plant, mash or blend the gel until you get a smooth runny paste (otherwise you will have aloe chunks in your shampoo). Add all ingredients together into a recycled shampoo bottle. Close lid tightly and shake well. You should also shake each time before using. Hello beautiful hair!
